Testimony

I recently read and re-read the excellent article you published in MO vol. 3, 2008 entitled “Do Hard Things.”  I am a pastor and would love to make that article available to my congregation... My wife and I were deeply humbled by it and I believe it can have a good impact upon the members of our church.  We have the book, but the summary the article presents is short enough that it will be well received.

Not only is it [the Magnum Opus] an opportunity and encouragement for your children to submit their own writing and possibly see it published but you as a parent can see what other students are doing. You can also have your own students read what others have published for a sense of what to look for in a certain assignment. We have enjoyed the issues and utilized them in these ways.

Magnum Opus magazine has had a tremendously positive impact on the kids in my 6^th -8^th grade (home school co-op) IEW level B writing class. They are so excited to see their work on the website, and it encourages them to do their very best. This is an excellent product, and it gives young writers a taste of what it is like to be published, which is very exciting for them! They also get a glimpse of how other kids around the globe are writing. Thank you, Magnum Opus, for a wonderful opportunity!!!
